Senior Minister

Rev Scott Muir

Scott is married to Rebecca and they have four children. Scott usually preaches for our Sunday services and oversees our elders and the general direction of the church. Scott is also our Homegroups Co-ordinator. Scott has lived in Ipswich all his life and prior to joining the ministry team at Central Church worked as a lawyer.

Connect Pastor

Peter Skerman

Peter is married to Annie and they have 5 children. Peter’s background is agronomy having worked in this field both in Australia and overseas. Peter’s role is to help you connect with Jesus and with God’s people in the church. When he is not at Central, Peter is usually at Queensland Theological College, completing his theological studies.

Natalie Newell

Nat is married to Rob and they have three children. Nat keeps the wheels of ministry running smoothly at Central. She looks after our many volunteers, facilitates training and works alongside ministry leaders to support them in keeping Jesus’ mission at the centre of all we do.

Ipswich Assist Programme Manager

Paul Blake

Paul is married to Lindy and they have four children. Paul has been a Home Missionary worker for the Presbyterian Church since 1981 and he’s been in Ipswich since 1985. Paul oversees our crisis relief ministry, Ipswich Assist, which aims to provide help to people in need in Ipswich. Email: paul@centralchurch.net.au

Jenny is married to Peter and they have two children. Jenny oversees the office and takes care of all church administration. If you call the office, she’s probably the first one you’ll speak to!
