
Girls Brigade
Seek, Serve & Follow Christ
Girls Brigade is an international, uniformed,
interdenominational, Christian organisation for girls from
grades 1-12. Girls Brigade is made up of companies run by a
Captain with the assistance of leaders. They meet weekly
during school terms.
The company is made up of 4 units. Cadets grades 1&2,
Juniors grades 3-6, Seniors grades 7&8 and Pioneers
grades 9-12. The program is made up of four achievements,
physical, educational, social & spiritual. This includes: craft,
games, camping, cooking, singing, devotions, general life
skills & leadership skills.
Girls get a badge at the end of
each year. They also get a service award for regular
attendance at both Girls' Brigade and church, Sunday school or
Bible study. There are other awards they can earn also.
Girls can also work towards the Pioneer Pin, which is
the highest National award, & the Queens award which
is the highest International award.
Girls Brigade was formed in Ireland in 1893 and commenced
in Australia in 1927.
Our Weekly Program
Girls Brigade meets on a Thursday night at Central Church starting at 7pm.
Our Leaders

Central Church operates the ChildSafe Risk Management system for all its youth and children activities to ensure we can have fun safely.
