The Nehemiah Series 2009

Nehemiah lived towards the very end of the history described in the Old Testament. He did not live in Israel. He was amonst the exiles who were living in foreign captivity in the Persian capital of Susa. Nehemiah was several generations into the period of exile and never saw Jerusalem in its glory. These were dark times for God's people, but God raised Nehemiah up to restore the people and renew their hope in the promises of God. His faith, trust and vision provide valuable lessons for us today.
