Our growing church family needs more space!
In July, we were able to take the opportunity to reclaim some space at the front of our Auditorium when the lease to Video Ezy came to an end. With Video Ezy leaving, we moved in with tradesmen and volunteers to begin the process of turning that space into a new office for our staff and for Ipswich Assist.
On August 17, with the offices (mostly) finished, we moved everything in to give our staff a home (and Ipswich Assist ).
The tradies then began on the new stage which will be 10 m wide and have two side room. The goal is the have an extended auditorium that will seat 440 people (currently 250 at a pinch). The dividing wall between the stage and the auditorium was knocked down on Monday November 14. The guys will be working hard all this week to get the stage area looking good for church services on Sunday November 20.
