Weekly Prayer List
Wednesday 31st December 2025
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Col 4.2-3
VALUE 5 - God’s people are His plan (the church matters to God so it matters to us)
Persecuted Church Worldwide
Ask the Lord to continue to sustain the faith of His people in Syria as they face violence and uncertainty. Pray for church leaders as they bring healing and hope through education, healthcare and compassion. Intercede for the new government, that it will act with wisdom and integrity, upholding justice, protecting the vulnerable, and safeguarding all communities regardless of faith (1 Timothy 2:1–2). Pray that its leaders will seek peace over power, unity over division, and righteousness over corruption. Pray for an end to extremist violence and for reconciliation among Syria’s divided peoples. Ask God to restore peace across the country, and to shine His light upon this ancient land (Isaiah 9:2).
