Weekly Prayer List

Thursday 2nd April 2026

VALUE 3 - Everyone matters (the gospel is for all people so we will face outwards)

Shepleys working in PNG

  • Praise God that he provided the resources, transportation and expertise for the defective solar batteries to be replaced. A seemingly impossible situation was resolved in miraculous ways.

  • Thank God for indigenous church worker from the village who is growing in his leadership abilities.  Pray that he would continue to deepen his own walk with the Lord and be increasingly effective in shepherding the small group of believers. Pray that he would be zealous and wise in the way he cares for them.

  • Pray that the believers would not only understand the amazing truths as they study Ephesians but that it would also translate into shaping their identity in Christ and lifestyle.

  • Pray that the religious cults that are trying to establish themselves in neighbouring villages would be frustrated.

Grow: Homegroups, Bible College Students, other Grow Ministries

  • Give thanks for our homegroup leaders for all that they do in leading and caring for our homegroup members.     Pray for refreshment for them over this school holiday break.

  • Praise God for our Pastoral Care team and pray that God will sustain them as they continue to care for members in our various communities.

  • Pray for our Bible College Students for refreshment over this Easter break and that they will continue to grow in their love of Christ and understanding of Scripture.

Ipswich AM Community:

  • Stan and Heather Williams and family are thankful for all the care and visitors they have had this week.  Please pray for Stan as his body continues to fail and he keeps his eyes on his heavenly home. Please pray for Heather who  has moved to Riverview Gardens.  Pray her transition is smooth and she will connect well with other residents.

  • Pray for Darren and Stefanie Domrow, their family and extended family as they live through the war in Lebanon.

  • Pray for Chandese Watts as she grieves the sudden death of her mum this week.

  • Pray for Val Kearton who has gone back to St Mary’s nursing home.  Val’s health has deteriorated.  She is very limited in what she can do and the pain has to be constantly managed.  Pray for endurance and confidence as she fights this difficult battle.

  • Give thanks that Rob Bendell has stabilised enough to go home from hospital.  Pray for Rob and Jayne as they navigate the decisions and fluctuations expected for Rob’s lung condition going forward.

Ipswich PM Community

  • Pray for Chandese Watts as she grieves the sudden death of her mum this week.

Bellbird Park Community.

  • Pray for Tracy’s dad, whose health is rapidly declining that he would accept the new present reality of assisted living and that his heart would be softened to accept Christ. Pray for wisdom, strength and tact for Tracy and her brother Paul as they seek to continue to support their frail parents in this difficult stage of life.

  • Thank you that Jade and Henry Millar’s surgeries went well this week. We pray for a swift and full recovery for them both, and for Stephen as he supports the family
