Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Col 4.2-3

NextGen: Creche, KidzCentral, Central Youth, Young Adults, Ministry Leaders
Pray that covering the Creed this term would continue to help our kids understand the basics of what we believe.
Pray for Parents of Kids in the NG ministry that they would be strengthened each day to show their kids Jesus in all of life.
Pray that our leaders would keep in focus the long game of seeing disciples of Jesus fully grown up.
Pray that those heading to FNA that God would be softening their hearts now to hear the gospel. May it come at them in a fresh and revitalising way.
Bradleys in Germany
Pray for Jared as he is preaching this Sunday at an English speaking Presbyterian church plant in Garmisch-Partenkirchen - close to the Austrian border.
Since joining ECM the Bradleys have been looking into other ministry placements in Germany and are in the process of finalising it with ECM. Pray for realistic expectations for all those involved and that God will pave the way for them.
Pray that Jared will be able to get some rest soon after a few intense wearying weeks.
Praise God that Samuel is growing well and healthy.

Suzanne Paddock - please pray for the connections she is making with staff as she tries to support them and the work they are doing. Please pray for the group of boys in her lunch bunch. Pray she will be able to connect with them despite their disabilities.
Please pray for the schools in our area currently without Chaplains.
Pray for Jeanette as she supports the students, teachers and staff in Term 3.
Please pray for Peter
Families, Students and Staff struggling with physical, mental and/or emotional issues, that God would be their healer and strength.
For the Pastoral Care (Chaplaincy) Team as they support the families, students and staff.
Praise that the Student Leadership Camp (training of the next student leaders in the school) went well. (30 July - 1 August).

Specific community prayer points
Ipswich AM Community
Please pray for the Dean family as Geoff spent time in Ipswich Hospital ICU this week with an infection. Pray for the stress on Lorraine and Jake with Geoff’s ongoing cancer prognosis.
Pray for others in our Community who are struggling with ill health, especially in this colder weather.
Pray for Val Kearton as she moves into St Mary’s nursing home.
Please keep praying for Maree Lowe as she cares for her dad (Ken) in the final days of his life. Pray for the pain and loneliness he is facing at times. Give thanks that Maree’s school has given her the time to care for and be with her dad.
Please continue to pray for Miriam Allott as she undergoes cancer treatment. Give thanks that her back pain has improved.

Please pray for our uni students who are back in Semester 2. Pray they will balance their work, uni and church commitments and glorify our Lord well.
Pray for Jessie and Ethan as they get married later this month, Pray for their preparations but also for a long and blessed married life together.

Give thanks for those who have just completed the Faith Course and for their positive responses to gospel truth.
Plainland Community
Pray for the planned Faith Course starting on the 24th, that God would open doors and give opportunities for us to be inviting and bringing people along to hear the gospel. Pray for courage to take those opportunities, and that God would be using us to make new disciples of the Lord Jesus in the Lockyer Valley.
Give thanks for the Spit roast night and pray for the upcoming Soup & Trivia night, that God would keep building us together as a congregation around the Lord Jesus. Pray that we grow in our love for each other and care for each other.
Pray for the sick and suffering among us. Many people have been sick this winter, but pray especially for Col, for Rob & Narelle and for Megan with ongoing health battles.
Other (including World Issues):
Pray for Vine Church, a new Presbyterian Church being planted at Yarrabilba. Their soft launch last week had 53 people in attendance and there has already been a new believer through some initial ministry that Tom and Simone have been doing in the community. Public launch is on 31 August.
